For many people it is simply more convenient to participate in online classes – which are available where they want them and when they are ready for them. We have all known about the convenience factor, but now it seems that some students actually learn more in online classes than they do in the traditional classroom setting.
Study Finds That Online Education Beats the Classroom
A recent 93-page report on online education, conducted by SRI International for the Department of Education, has a starchy academic title, but a most intriguing conclusion: “On average, students in online learning conditions performed better than those receiving face-to-face instruction.”
