This was a surprise to me. In the last ten years Pantone has not picked a purple shade, so this will be quite a change, not just in clothing, but also in products for the home and office. An orchid-colored coffee maker? I remember how proud I was of my avocado and harvest gold kitchen appliances in the 70’s!!!!!
