Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle (LVCA)

  • Volunteers to man the tables, etc., for WORDPLAY,  Charlottesville’s own live game show, March 10 at the Omni Hotel. Wordplay is a fundraiser for Literacy Volunteers Charlottesville-Albemarle. LVCA is an independent, non-profit organization that offers free, confidential, individualized basic literacy and ESL instruction to adults. To volunteer contact Rachael Kesler (


  • Help is needed maintaining the Twice is Nice website.
  • Office help is needed updating community contact lists. Good speaking voice and Excel knowledge is helpful.
  • Sewing help is needed for various projects in our community centers.
  • Become a Friendly Caller in Louisa County. Free Orientation and training, March 4 at the Louisa County Public Library. 9 am or 6 pm.
