JABA Volunteer Opportunities

  • We are looking for some administrative help with the FISH (Friends in Schools Helping) program on Wednesdays.  If you have an interest in or background in publicity, volunteer management or training please join our FISH Leadership Team and have a lot of fun while making a real difference in a child’s life.
  • Friendly Visitor needed for elderly client in Charlottesville with occasional grocery shopping
  •  Volunteer needed for public education-outreach campaign to raise awareness about fair housing in our community.
  • Twice Is Nice, JABA’s upscale resale shop in Preston Plaza, is in need of volunteers to run the register, prepare clothes and other activities.  And for some real deals, come to the half-off sale starting Thursday, January 26th.
