JABA Volunteer Opportunities for February

JABAlogo1) Are you looking to volunteer in a exciting, friendly atmosphere? Come and be a part of a dedicated team made up of volunteers and staff that work together to make sure JABA has one of the best volunteer programs in the state meeting critical needs in a large area. JABA’s Volunteer Services Department is looking for a few people to help with data entry and special projects. Come be a part of it!

2) You will be hooked when you hear about the FISH Leadership Team. Use your skills and find your passion for making a difference by joining a small group of volunteers to facilitate the FISH tutor-mentor program in your local Public Schools through JABA. This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for former teachers, retirees in the fields of Marketing, Human Resources, and Community Development, as well as current FISH Mentors and others who want to be part of a dynamic team. Keep yourself active, healthy and learning.

3) Have a specific talent to share or simply want to assist the staff at your local community center? Do you have an hour to spare once a week or once a month? We are looking for entertainers, artists, exercise enthusiasts of all types, people with computer savvy, crafters and more to help out in Greene, Nelson and Louisa counties. Our Louisa Community Center is even looking for a person to teach Extreme Couponing!
