Colonnades Gardeners are residents here at the Colonnades Senior Living Community in Charlottesville, Virginia, who enjoy gardening and nature. Some of us have vegetable gardens, others flower gardens, while a number of us are planting gardens specifically designed to attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. Many residents visit the gardens during their daily stroll around our campus. In this quarantine period especially, our gardens are a respite and joy for all of us!

We were so pleased recently to receive our sign and certificate from the North American Butterfly Association, and we hope to be able to post some photos of our butterflies soon.
