Louisa County students are working hard to catch up from a fall semester of disruption and chaos in their lives due to the earthquake. School administrators could use your help. JABA’s FISH (Friends In Schools Helping) program is working with Trevilians Elementary and Thomas Jefferson Elementary to connect volunteers with the children to build up their skills in reading and math, complete their homework and improve their academic performance. All we need is a commitment of an hour a week and you can make a big difference. If you are interested, please call the FISH Team at 817-5289 or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
