Within the Jefferson School-adjacent to our senior community center-JABA is building the Vinegar Hill Café, a public gathering place for all ages, races and social backgrounds. The café will seat approximately 85 customers with indoor and outdoor seating. We will serve our senior clients as well as many others, such as tenants of the Jefferson School City Center, including the YMCA children and staff working elsewhere in the building; visitors coming to the African American Heritage Center; employees and patrons of downtown mall merchants; employees of other businesses surrounding the school; and retired baby boomers. We will also cater special events throughout the center and off premise.
