    Literacy Volunteers (LVCA) Training, May 18, 2013 A truly intergenerational (20’s through 70’s !!!) group of very friendly, warm, enthusiastic trainers and trainees gathered on Saturday morning in JABA‘s bright Martha Williams Community Center in the beautifully restored Jefferson School  for a full day of training.

    Vinegar Hill Café volunteer opportunities Programming (planning and organizing musical, artistic and other community events in the café) Daily café activities (food preparation, cashier work, menu planning, cleaning, and greeting customers) Opening preparations (arranging furniture, hanging art, setting up kitchen).
